From July 22nd to 24th, 2018 Advanced Workshop for the Training and Development of International Chinese Teachers was successfully held in BFSU. The workshop was sponsored by Confucius Institute Headquarters/Hanban, hosted by International Society for Chinese Language Teaching (ISCLT) and organized by BFSU and FLTRP. Over 300 participants, including teachers and students of MTCSOL (Master of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages) and members of ISCLT participated in the workshop.

Ma Jianfei, Party Secretary and Deputy Chief Executive of the Confucius Institute Headquarters & Deputy Director General of Hanban, Vice President & Sectary General of ISCLT; and Yuan Jun, Vice President of BFSU addressed the opening ceremony. Jin Limin, Director of BFSU Office of Confucius Institutes and Deputy Director He Jing; Miao Qiang, General Manager of the International Chinese Publishing Center of FLTRP attended the event.

The workshop has been held in BFSU for four times. Both Hanban and ISCLT spoke highly of the organization and effect of the workshop and expected further cooperation with BFSU in more aspects.
