On Feb. 26th, Bandula Gunawardana, former Sri Lankan Minister of Education and Member of Sri Lankan Parliament, led a delegation to BFSU. President Peng Long visited the delegation. During the meeting, Gunawardana made a detailed introduction of his doctoral dissertation and expressed his willingness to support the educational and cultural exchanges between BFSU and Sri Lanka. Peng Long congratulated him on his graduation among BFSU’s first Ph.D. students from the “Confucius China Studies Program”, and spoke highly of his doctoral dissertation as it is of great importance to the studies of China andSri Lanka in terms of mutual beneficial economic and trade cooperation and friendly relationship.
