The world finals and the closing ceremony for the 16th “Chinese Bridge” Competition for Foreign College Students was held in Changsha, Hunan Province on Aug. 12th,. The 5 contestants were winners of the preliminary sessions, intermediary sessions and national finals from 145 contestants in 112 countries. After fierce competition, Shahmeer from KZIUM won the second prize, the Best Eloquence Award and the Asian Champion. Bernhard Häfner from CIM won the third prize, the European Champion and the Award of Popularity.

In 2017, seven BFSU-partner CIs participated in the “Chinese Bridge” Competition. They are: KZIUM, CIURLS, ACIG, CIP, CIUV, CIELU and CIZU.
