On Oct. 16, 2024, the China-Hungary Higher Education Cooperation and Exchange Conference was held at BFSU. The conference theme was Deepening Understanding, Seeking Cooperation, and Pursuing Common Development. Presidents, representatives, and heads of international affairs from ten universities in China and Hungary attended the meeting. Jia Wenjian, President of BFSU, attended the conference and delivered a speech. Representatives from the University of Sopron, Eötvös Loránd University, the University of Pannonia, and John von Neumann University from Hungary, as well as Capital Normal University, Central University of Finance and Economics, and BFSU from China, gave speeches. Yang Wei, President of CIEF and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, delivered an online lecture on global competence. After the meeting, Wang Dinghua, Chairman of the University Council of BFSU, met with the Hungarian delegation.
