On July 11th, CIS held its board meeting in BFSU. The meeting was attended by Anastas Gerdjikov, Chairperson of the CIS Board and Rector of Sofia University, Jia Wenjian, Vice President of BFSU, Madlen Danova, Dean of the Faculty of Classical and Modern Philology, Sofia University, Nako Stefanov, Professor from the Centre for Eastern Languages and Studies, Sofia University, Lin Wenshuang, Deputy Dean of the School of European Languages and Cultures, Jin Limin, Director of the Office of Confucius Institutes, BFSU, Aksiniya Koleva, Foreign Director of CIS, Gao Chunli, Chinese Director of CIS, and Ge Zhiqiang, former Chinese Director of CIS.
Board members signed the Minutes of the 2018 Board Meeting of CIS, reviewed the 2018 Work Report, the 2019 Work Plan, and the 2018 Financial Statement and Budget. The members also discussed on the implementation of the Eurasia Project and the Bulgarian-Chinese MTI Project and the prospects for the synchronous on-line classes between BFSU and Sofia University.
