From Dec. 7th to 11th, Jia Dezhong, Vice President of BFSU, led a delegation to Bulgaria for the 130th anniversary of Sofia University. The delegation also discussed cooperation programs between two universities, attended the 2018 Board Meeting of CIS, inspected teaching centers affliated to CIS, and visited some of the teachers training in Bulgaria from BFSU.

Anastas Gerdjikov, Rector of Sofia University & Chair of the CIS Board, Madeleine Danova, Dean of Faculty of Modern Philology & CI board member, Nako Raynov Stefanov, Professor of Centre for Eastern Languages and Studies & CI board member, Directors of CIS Gao Chunli and Aksinia Koleva attended the board meeting. On the meeting, the board members reviewed the 2017 & 2018 work reports and the work plan for the first half of 2019 made by Director Koleva, as well as the 2017 financial report made by Director Gao. The focus of work in 2019 and future development strategy were also discussed.
