2018 Pre-job Training for Chinese Directors of Confucius Institutes in Europe was officially started in the International Conference Center of FLTRP on July 24th. 57 Chinese Directors from 42 Chinese universities and education organizations attended the opening ceremony. The ceremony was hosted by Yang Jincheng, Director of the Division of European Confucius Institutes of Hanban. Zhao Guocheng, Deputy Chief Executive of the Confucius Institute Headquarters & Deputy Director General of Hanban, and Jia Wenjian, Vice President of BFSU attended the opening ceremony.

The training, hosted by BFSU for the second time, was organized by BFSU Office of Confucius Institutes and the Training Center of FLTRP. Zhang Xiaohui, Executive Dean of BFSU School of Chinese Language and Literature, and Peng Donglin, Director of the Multilanguage Publishing Branch of FLTRP also attended the ceremony.
