From Oct. 20 to 23, CIHUFS and the HUFS Institute of China Studies co-hosted the 18th International Academic Symposium for Young Scholars. The theme of this year’s symposium was Change and Continuity in Chinese Studies. Approximately 100 experts, professors, and young scholars from 25 universities in Korea, China, and other countries and regions were divided into 14 groups, and they presented 80 papers. Na Mingu, Korean Director of CIHUFS and President of the Institute of China Studies, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. Jiang Ying, Chinese Director of CIHUFS, gave a concluding speech.
