On Jan. 17, KZIUM hosted the 2024 Chinese New Year Celebration event at the auditorium of the UM Student Center. The event was attended by more than 300 people, including Ouyang Yujing, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of China to Malaysia, Professor Dato' Seri Ir. Dr. Noor Azuan Abu Osman, Vice-Chancellor of UM, representatives from the Ministry of Higher Education, Department of Immigration, Youth Council of Malaysia, China Construction Bank Malaysia, the KZIUM-affiliated teaching sites, as well as teachers and students from UM and eight secondary schools.
