On Nov. 28, the Chinese Embassy in Hungary organized a sinologist exchange event on Promoting Mutual Understanding Across Civilizations and Enhancing People-to-People Bonds and an award ceremony at the Chinese Cultural Center in Budapest. Dr. Hamar Imre, Hungarian Director of ELTE-CI, Kusai Sándor Zoltán, former Hungarian Ambassador to China, and three other Hungarian sinologists were awarded the Sinologist Outstanding Contribution Awards. More than 50 officials from the Chinese Embassy in Hungary and representatives from the Hungarian sinology community attended the event.
