On June 3, the finals of the 24th Chinese Bridge Chinese Proficiency Competition for Foreign College Students (Sri Lanka) were held at the University of Colombo (UC). Madhavi Kumari Weerasekara from the University of Peradeniya, an affiliated teaching site of CIUT, and P. Sathya Jinali Pilapitiya, a first-batch student of the Chinese Language Program at UC, won the first prize.
