On Feb. 4, CIO organized the first Czech Confucius Institutes and Confucius Classrooms Joint Conference at the Faculty of Arts, Palacký University. A total of 16 Chinese and Czech staff members from CIs, including the Confucius Institute at VSFS in Prague and the Confucius Classroom at the Institute of Technology and Business at České Budějovice, attended the conference. Jiang Yupeng, Head of Educational Affairs at the Chinese Embassy in the Czech Republic, was invited to the conference. The representatives engaged in in-depth discussions on cooperation programs, including the Chinese Summer Camp program, educators’ delegations, and the format of international Chinese language proficiency tests.
