On Nov. 29 and 30, 2024, the CIS-affiliated Confucius Classroom at the University of Ruse organized an event to celebrate the 75th anniversary of China-Bulgaria diplomatic relations and the 8th Chinese Culture Festival. The event was attended by Pencho Milkov, Mayor of Ruse; Hristo Beloev, Chairman of the Ruse City Council and Honorary Rector of the University of Ruse; and Rositsa Georgieva, Head of the Ruse Regional Education Department.
