Local time from July 29th to Aug. 11th, 15 students from CIL and 20 students from CIL - Namur participated in the 2nd “Expressway to Chinese” Summer Camp in BFSU. Students took Chinese language courses and participated in various cultural experience activities involving traditional Chinese painting, paper cutting, Chinese knot, Taiji fan, etc. During their stay in China, CIL students established strong emotional ties with campers from other countries, as well as local Chinese. Despite of the burning heat and cultural differences, the summer camp achieved a great success and was well received by campers thanks to the thoughtful organization of the Office of Confucius Institutes, BFSU and the FLTRP and the joint efforts of all teachers and staff. Jin Limin, Director of Office of Confucius Institutes, BFSU, Xu Jianzhong, Editor in Chief of FLTRP, Li Li, Director of non-English department, BFSU language school, and Zhang Yingxuan, Chinese director of CIL attended the opening ceremony.
