Local time Apr. 10th, the signing ceremony of the FICB-affiliated La Salle Girona Confucius Classroom was held in La Salle Girona secondary school. This was the first Confucius Classroom ever established in Catalonia Region in Spain.

Participants of this ceremony included Joaquim Mataró, principal of La Salle Girona secondary school, Javier Orduña, Spanish Director of FICB, Chang Shiru, Chinese Director of FICB, Li Qiaofang, Chief Coordinator of Development Department of FICB, Hong Haifeng, Director of Chinese Promotion Department of La Salle Association, Ma Yao, volunteer Chinese teacher in La Salle Girona secondary school, etc. Sílvia Simón from International Exchange Division of University of Girona, principals of elementary and secondary schools offering Chinese courses under the La Salle Association and school officials from La Salle Girona secondary school also attended the event.
