From Aug 18th to 22nd, the Second World Conference of Chinese Studies & 17th International Conference on the Digitalization of Premodern Chinese Novel & Drama 2018 was jointly held in Germany and Austria.

Nonnen kamp Jan-Peter, Vice Rector of Universität Witten/Herdecke; Mu Zhai, Director General of the World Association of Chinese Studies (WACS); Prof. Park Jae Woo, President of International Society of Lu Xun Studies & Executive Director of WACS; Eberspächer Cord, Director of CID and Richard Trappl, Director of CIUV attended the opening ceremony among other guests. 75 scholars from 7 countries brainstormed at various forums with the themes inculding “The History and Core of Sinology”, “International Studies of Ancient Chinese Literature” and “China in the Eyes of Contemporary Western Writers”, etc..
