Jan. 20th, “Happy Spring Festival 2017” large-scale performance organized by CIK was held in the Auditorium of Jagiellonian University with a full house of 1500 people. Actors from the Peking Opera Theater of Hubei Province brought to the citizens of Krakow a visual feast displaying the quintessence of Chinese culture. It was the 6th time for CIK to hold “Happy Spring Festival” performance sponsored by Chinese Ministry of Culture and Chinese Embassy in Poland. Cai Lian,Counsellorof the Cultural Section of the Chinese Embassy in Poland, Stanisław Kistryn, Vice President of Jagiellonian University, Han Xinzhong, Chinese Director of CIK and Joanna Wardega, Polish Director of CIK watched the performance among other audience. Many local media, including TVP3, attended this event and covered the performance in their reports.
