On Apr. 20th, the 3rd Chinese Contemporary Film Festival in Bulgaria was held in Sofia. Jackie Chan, the world-famous movie star sent a letter of congratulation to this event. On the Opening Ceremony, Lyuben Kozarev, President of the Bulgarian Publishing House East-West, introduced Jackie Chan’s autobiographyGrowing Old Before Growing Up(Bulgarian Version). Based on the experience of previous two years, this Festival focused on combining Chinese traditional culture and contemporary trends, and presenting the difference and integration of East-West cultures. The 5-day event presented 6 outstanding Chinese movies:Xin Hai Ge Min,Shower,Big Fish and Begonia,The King of Masks,Yellow Earth,Last Train Home.
