The finals of the 10th “Chinese Bridge” Competition for German High School Students was held in Gottingen, the famous academic city of Germany, on June 17th.. The Competition was sponsored by the Education Office of Chinese Embassy in Germany and organized by ACIG. 16 German high school students from 5 CIs participated in this event. In their speeches, they described the differences between Germany and China in their eyes, and expressed their love of the Chinese culture, food and language. In the Q & A session, they exhibited their profound understanding of the Chinese culture and language proficiency. The talent show was presented in various forms, such as singing, dancing, painting, paper-folding, poem-reading, taiji fan dancing and piano performance. After nearly 8 hours’ competition, Carla Repmann from Berlin and Ahmet Özbakir from Essen won the first prize. They will participate in the world finals to be held in China.
