Founded in 1303, Sapienza University of Rome, University of Rome for short, also University of Rome La Sapienza, is the largest university in Italy and third in Europe. There are 21 schools with 19,631 staff and 107,327 enrolled students in the university (2012/13).
September 29, 2006 witnessed the founding of the Confucius Institute at the University of Rome La Sapienza (CIURLS) by BFSU and Sapienza University of Rome. The Confucius Institute adopts the teaching mode of bilateral cooperation so as to provide impressive services for Chinese teaching in Rome.
In order to expand the international view and enhance the academic ability of BFSU students, BFSU intends to cooperate with Sapienza University of Rome by way of organizing undergraduates and postgraduates to attend the Summer School of Sapienza University of Rome. The Summer School will provide a series of lectures fully delivered in English by experts, seminars with European students, cultural investigations of Italy and Europe, etc. Therefore, for the purpose of comprehensively finding out our students’ willingness to take part in the study tour of Sapienza University of Rome, we conduct this questionnaire.
