In May, 2013, the program of Russia’s local Chinese textbookOutlookChinese, jointly developed by the base and the Confucius Institute of Moscow State Linguistic University, was approved by the Confucius Institute Headquarters. At present, the compilation of the textbook and the localization of the first five chapters have been completed. By the end of 2015, the program team will complete the localization work of the whole textbook and start the compilation of supporting textbooks such as Chinese Characters Textbook and Teachers’ Manual.
