“Globalization of Chinese Language and Culture” Lecture Series Held Its 4th and 5th Sessions
On May 4th and 11th, the 4th and 5th sessions of the “Globalization of Chinese Language and Culture” lecture series were held in the library of BFSU. On May 4th, Prof. Wang Hui, Dean of the School of International Education & Director of the Research Institute for Language Planning and Policies, Ningxia University, gave a lecture entitled “The Spread of Chinese Language and Culture along the Belt and Road: Practice and Reflection”. In the lecture, he introduced BRI and made in-depth explanation on the importance, models and ways of spreading Chinese language and culture along the Belt and Road countries, and shared his views on CI development. On May 11th, Ning Jiming, Dean of the School of International Education & Director of the Research and Experience Center of Traditional Chinese Culture, gave a lecture entitled “The Value, Contribution and Challenges of CIs & the Social Identity and Professional Requirements of International Chinese Language Teachers”.
